Default Bye Carrera Cab - Hello Carrera GTS

New to us, 2022 CPO'ed Carrera GTS with 5,800ish miles and TONS of options (which I would never have configured myself, however, when in Rome...).

Dolomite Silver w/Graphite Blue full leather interior. I am really in love with the Graphite Blue interior after I wasn't sold on it in pictures. It blends extremely nicely with the Dolomite Silver.

Picked it up yesterday at Porsche Naples and I couldn't be happier with the way the deal went down, the pricing structure on both my GB Cabriolet and the GTS, and the great customer service and attitude there.

I didn't really get into it too much, however the power jump from a base to a GTS is absolutely insane. I'm sure haters gonna bag on me, but today's trip I managed to get 31.4 mpg, which surprised me, however I was trying super hard to see how high I could get it. The ride home yesterday was around 17.8 mpg, for the fun crowd.

Classic silver cars look so good, and are rare these days. The millions of variations of white in recent years kinda killed silver.

Congrats!

Silver and blue is a fantastic combo. I am surprised it is not more popular. Good choice and happy motoring.

At one point I had a 992 GTS on order with the graphite leather with chalk stitching interior. The SA actively tried to discourage me from choosing this option since it would in his view hurt resale. I think this is probably nonsense, since it looks so great in real life, it’s hard to find and yet much more subtle than red, which seems to be a lot more common.

Be honest, you look at base 911s now like, "ha, peasants."

Not really. I am still a peasant at heart.
