Error Msg Question?
2020 992 C4S 12,000 miles, while driving an error message popped up "Engine output reduced. OK to drive. Return to shop."
Hours later after shutdown, restart and no message. What might that be?

Yep...I've done many searches. Fuel pump is suggested but not often, and not as intermittent failure. And seems more frequent in other models (Macan & Cayenne). Others have pointed to bad fuel, overfilled oil tank, loose oil fill cap. In my case, I have "tested" a few times since, up to 8,000 rpm and the message has not reappeared.
So I reckon a trip to Porsche, I was trying to avoid because I'm a long way from the nearest.

a lot of faults appear on the pcm and disappear on the next startup. I think you shouldn't panic
