Rear GTS tail light cracked inside

Should be covered under warranty but no reason the put PPF over them unless you track the car.
Any time you put PPF over them you stand the chance that when removed you can damage them. Although, you should not have any issues with some one who knows how to carefully remove PPF there is still the possibility

Dear all,
any idea what caused rear tail light to crack from inside? This part has never been removed before. Is it possible that it came when the ppf was applied over it?
Ps.the crack can be seen in some certain angle with flash light.
This angle the crack can be seen
From this pov, it cannot be seen

Bad formulation batch, or incorrect procedure followed for cooling, causing tension to release as these cracks.
Stored energy was introduced in opposition called shear stress.
This has exceeded its modulus of rigidity which, being stress over strain.
This defect would most likely exacerbate itself with T delta change.
TLDR: chemical formulation most likely cooled at a too rapid rate, causing tension in the lenses thus cracking overtime.
source: me and my weirdly specific background.
