Default Soft Top

Hi my fellow Cab 911’s. 2021, is this normal? It spends most of its time in the garage or out and about on nice days. Thanks 😎🍸

Some wrinkling is inevitable. Best way to minimize it is to not keep the top down for extended periods or time (i.e. days or overnight).

Mine get wrinkles in that same spot. I don’t think it’s as bad as yours. I’ll get a pic later today.

Do you keep the top down when it's sitting in the garage? Hmmm. If that's what mines gonna look like in three more years, that's disconcerting.

the top is down only when I drive it, always up when it’s in the garage.

That's a wee bit more than I have after 19 months of ownership. The top is down when we are driving almost 99% of the time and up 100% of the time in the garage. I think it isn't really that bad all things considered.

Next time I am in the garage and toss back the cover I will snap a pic.

thanks for the pic. I have been told the best I can do is keep it up in the garage and use a top conditioner, it’s all about too down. Fall is coming in FL. 👍🏻

I keep it up anytime I’m not driving it, but I bought it to use, so it goes down as much as I want and the wrinkles are what they are.

I had it down for 7 hours yesterday.

Exactly what I do. Seems like the creasing is inevitable.

Keep the top up when not using the car. However, expect wrinkles on soft top over time.

That’s normal for the top. It will wrinkle over time. I’ll post a pic of mine later when I’m going out.

Also, I never put the top down when it’s wet. And always keep it parked in the garage with the top up.
