Default Camera lens cracked

Found this cleaning. I wonder if they’ll cover it under warranty. It still functions though.

I think that’s the Night Vision sensor not the camera.

I suspect they'd say that it was caused by road debris and not covered under warranty.

luckily it still works and will be careful when washing by hand

Insurance should cover that. You'd be surprised how out of proportion fixing it would cost.

Dealer said $5500 for parts and another $1500 for labor.

At least on the pana it's a generic VW/Audi camera. Easy to find new or used. The labor is something else and allegedly there's a "special" alignment. The lens is cracked in my car but I'll leave as is.
