OK, I’ll blame this one on age, a rare excuse for me, but I completely forget I posted that :-) Spread out, it looks like a lot, but it all has a place. Solo travel is a lot different, but a lot more room to work with. I try to discipline myself to evaluate what I really used at the end of each trip, so it changes a little each year. There is always a, “ Damn, wish I would have left those rubber bands in the bag” point somewhere, or that was a waste”!
Timely thread posts as I start packing for my 2k mile trip that includes Tail of the Dragon in about a week. The biggest thing I'm taking is a flat tire bag. I'm carrying a scissor jack and all the related tools to remove and repair a tire. But it's heavy, so I'll put it on the passenger floor. Plus I have a bunch of stuff that needs to stay with this car as I relocate it to my second home.
