My first car was a Wolfsburg Jetta. My friends always thought I was a cheapskate bc I shook the gas nozzle inside the fuel fill neck. They thought I wanted the last few drops in the tank. I just didn’t want them on the paint 😂.

Goes well with the overpriced filler cap AND it's yellow!

Chalk works well with yellow... that's my only justification.

Yet another accessory that I can not pass up. A lot more useful than many others on the car :-)

Their colors are so ugly! I need a Bordeaux Red flap with Chalk stitching to match my interior. 😝

Updating this thread for those interested in options, as the original “The Marrk” product is unavailable (company closed, unfortunately). However, there is another high quality option to consider — https://www.carbone.pl

Just search for ‘992 fuel bib’ and you find their offering. It’s finely manufactured, easily customized, and the service was polite and efficient. Due to trademark, I used the historical coat of arms of the Wurttemberg State — from which the Porsche logo is based. Highly recommended, send carbone.pl an email for custom quotes or just order their stock options (M-Engineering also has a custom bib on their site for the 992).

Not custom, but gets the job done.

Their stock options are... well... interesting. $30 more for not ugly seems a bit much.

How do these things work? In other words, what’s to keep the gas station attendant from simply closing the gas filler door with flap just dangling out?

What’s a gas station attendant and why would they be touching my car? Just kidding. Do you let others fill up your car by choice, or do you live in a country where it’s mandated?
