I did get a Manual, and just didn't enjoy it as much. I guess I am tired of Manual after 18+ years.
In the past manuals were superior, they aren't anymore!
Thank you all for the good feedback. Helped me add to my research a bit more.
So added the Sport Package- gives the chrono pack, plus PSE, plus PSAM, removed the PDLS+ and I am keeping the wing (no wing, is a deal breaker for me). Kept the 18way seat too..
Nice build, I like it, simple yet elegant at the same time. Keep the 18 way seats as they are fantastic. I did not get PSE only because I like the duel exhaust tips better, had my dealer program it in for $149 so now I have the sound and my tips.

Aerokit availability comes and goes. If it's a deal breaker, make sure with your sales person that the available allocation slot for you includes Aerokit availability.
chrono is a must for a number of reasons listed above. Ill vote against the PSE though, don't have it on my current car and wouldn't build with it if I ever ordered new. imo isn't much of a difference from a non-pse in sport mode.
I thought about the premium package. Honestly, not worried about resale value. I am not an audiophile or even listen to radio/podcast. So no need for Bose, had the folding mirrors and Surround View, which in my opinion wasn't as helpful as was front and rear camera, which is standard either way.
The only thing I liked was LCA, so opted for it.
I have leather and alcantara arm rest in two of my cars and prefer alcantara. It does look odd, but I thought adds a hint extra with the steering wheel.
The only thing I am not sure about is the 18 way or 4 way seats! I do like the memory function and more adjustability. 4 way was good enough though, but wasn't perfect.
for those complaining about PID/ALK etc. I have it and it works well. It can be put in sport+, set cruise 20 over speed limit and it will zip you through a canyon run very nicely. no bouncing between lanes. just keep your hands on the wheel and it will do the rest.
note that i did this once to test it out. i have PID for highway driving where i want to relax, chat with my passenger and enjoy some scenery. it's great in traffic and for traffic jams. on a daily driver it's a nice feature. on a weekend car i wouldn't bother.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do like the quad tips more. I didn't like the looks of the dual PSE tips.
$149 for programming, that sounds a steal. Which dealer was it and what do you tell them to do? Would be really helpful..thanks again

It is available and not an issue at the moment. I know, that certain things can cause an issue.

From the sound of it. I took the advise and opted in. Read few articles and other things. Guess it will be helpful and got rid of the PSE.

Thanks for sharing the info on the PID and LKA. I kept the premium pack out!
PRZCE7W5 here is the final build code.
Added the PDLS+, chrono package, pasm, and removed the PSE. I am still not sold on the premium pack.
With regards to the head lights. I have a 992 Carrera S on order and selected the PDLS+, however I am doubting if I should not go for the LED Matrix PDLS+ black, purely for aesthetics....... What do you think?
The exterior color is going to be GT Silver with Sport Design Package in gloss black.

I don’t think the front camera is standard. My understanding is that comes with surround view.

If it is for aesthetics and you can dish out the $$ for it. Why not! Haven't seen one in person and can't comment on whether it looks great or so so! But again we put a lotta things on our car for aesthetics even though we don't use the functionality. So if you like it. Go for it.

I think you are right. But again, not a requirement for me. Drove in Austria/Germany and so many other tight spots. If it was tight, I still had to come out and take a lot. The rear camera was handy. Back it in
Correct, rear camera comes as a standard, however for the front camera and/or 3D surround view you must select the parking package. Never used the park assist, however camera's are always welcome in particular in parking garages with high fenders not to damage your wheels. For this reason I did include it.

I definitely agree with you there. But each box I check adds the $$ and then you are at a point, why even get a 911 S.
So, it is a tough choice. Give up on one thing or the other.

True and a valid consideration.
For me its a deliberate decision to go for an 911 Carrera S for the following reasons:
Wheel choice (I like the Carrera Classic Wheels in two-tone rather than the black ones of the GTS, although the centre lock is a cool feature.
Sport Design Package: rear bumper on the Carrera S comes in high gloss black and on the GTS it doesn't.
Interior if full leather with 930 finish (even have the sun blinds and steering column in leathers, same goes for dashboard and doors interior).
Moreover I think - for me, but that is personal - the S provides the perfect balance between sport and comfort, both for the suspension (it comes with PDCC / PASM Sport and PTV) and interior sound. I choose for RWD only, as I live in sunny Barcelona and the car has a WET modus just in case. Its not my daily driver anyway.
Eventually I believe that my S configuration in terms of price was at PAR with the GTS, but money was not the object.
