build locks in 3 days on the fence on color? your thoughts?

Silver would be classic. But I think the 911 can pull off bright colors well. White is my absolute last choice. It's like you just gave up or bought whatever crap was on the dealer lot (at least, that's my assumption when I see a white car).

Carmine red ... the quintessential GTS color.

You’re getting no help here haha. Color is such a personal choice and as you can see, the opinions are all over the map. I spec’d white because I love it, think it looks great with the black contrast of the GTS bits, and to me, it’s timeless. I also like to blend in when it comes to my car. While I really like many of the other colors on the 992, I think I’d eventually grow tired of them. I plan for this one to be a keeper and it’s my 2nd white 992 to join a white Macan and white X5 in the stable. I know, I might be a little biased.
All that said, if I already had a CWM GT3T in the garage, I’d probably add some color. While I always love seeing chalk P cars, there are a lot of them around and other manufacturers have copied the color so it’s lost a little luster for me. As such, I’d go IGM. Good luck and don’t wait until the last day to make a change!

I have IGM 992 TTS
When I ordered my car it was silver with red. When my ordered car the kept being delayed. My dealer told me he had an IGM arriving in a few days. I wasn’t sure but after I saw the color I was happily surprised. I got so many compliments on this color then any other Porsche color I had. Before this I has white and agate grey. It sounds like you are not in love with it so pick something else. Porsches look great in any color. My friend who bought a silver cab before me said his next Porsche will be IGM. Go with what will make you look back at it when you park it. Good luck!

IGM would be a hands down easy pick for me. I like blue. It is different enough to turn your eye and catch yourself looking at it twice, because well, it isn't clinical white like a surgical suite. It can be very adaptable with silver/black/colored wheels as you see fit along with some chrome window trim or badging or however you want to make your car, yours.
That being said, I am a fan of clinical white as well, although about 0.00001% less than the dynamic whites (yes Carrara white is simply the best white).
Hope that helped, although I doubt much that it did.

I love IGM, don't talk yourself out of it. It's definitely more interesting than white. But I am a long-standing lover of blue-tinged silver colors. Doesn't show as much in this picture but this is my Imbus silver L322 Range Rover supercharged, perhaps my all-time favorite color on a vehicle, and it's very much in the IGM color family. This monster has a 510 HP supercharged V8 from the factory
My 992 is GT silver.
My 992 is GT silver.
