Too late, I ordered a GTS and the suspension is so stiff my baby has SBS.

those of you who have had a baby and a 911, can you share if met your expectations?
I just went through this over the past few years. I actually bought my 991 when my daughter was born and sold my SUV... I used a Clek carseat with the base installed in the rear passenger seat and the carseat would click in when taking her places. The front seat was forward but not too bad. I rolled up to a cars and coffee with the baby and dog in the rear seats and my 5'3" wife in the front, and stroller in the front. I currently have a 19 GTS with the Porsche iseat now she is 3 years old and she has a ton of room in the back (front facing now). The car is a safe cars ignore those comments. Getting the carseat rear facing into the car is not as easy as placing one into a large SUV but its not that bad. Driving is way more fun though! My daughter now at 3 loves Porsche and we do Daddy Daughter trips to the race track for IMSA and GT races so wouldnt have it any other way!

This comment makes no sense. I can reach my daughter much quicker in a small car than a massive SUV... she is in the rear passenger seat which is pretty much diagonal to me from the drivers seat and I can reach her without getting out of the car or getting out of my seat. In a massive SUV I would have to get out of the car, run around the thing, open the rear door to get to her. Also, dont feed a newborn or give them unsafe toys in any car... I would not say having a newborn in a small car is irresponsible.

No worries with finding a proper seat. It’s the endless smell of puked up milk that’s gonna ruin the experience.

I guess everyone has a different view of experiences so that is what the OP needs to figure out. To me the experience is enjoying my car and motorsport lifestyle with her milk puke and all during the early years of owning these things is more than worth it. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way as my car is something I share with her instead of my escape. I got my first 911 when she was born and its now been my only car and daily since (have since upgraded to a 991.2 GTS and have an order in for a 992 GTS). Now we are past the milk up stages, she loves going to car pool lane in a loud sports car, loves going to the track to watch races, constantly tells me to turn that little thing (sport chrono wheel) to fast mode, goes to all the cars and coffees to look at the ones with the wings (new one will have a wing ), and spend an annual daddy daughter weekend at the IMSA Carrera Cup weekend (2nd year running now).

Anyway, everyone has their own reason for getting these cars and how they enjoy them.

I think a baby car seat is smaller than 12 rolls of bounty.

Man some of you guys are wet blankets. One of the best parts about having my Carrera T before I got my GT3 was taking the whole fam out. This is Carter 3.5yo in a WayB Pico and Henry 5 months or so in a Cybex Aton with a base. Easy peasy.

Frunk fit an UppaBaby Minu, lunches, diaper bag etc.

I removed the reat seat with Graco and ended up buying WayPico for travel as well. Removing the rear seat is recommended. Also more space for small dogs and avoid scratch seats.

Is there a guide you followed to remove a 992 back seat? I see only youtube videos for older models.

Also, I'm assuming it's one piece, meaning you can't remove just one side? Thanks!

Thanks all! I was able to secure a 992 GTS allocation and it’s arriving in June. My baby will be around 3 months by then. I’m super stoked!

yes I’d like to know this as well! I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to remove the rear seat backs. I tried with removal tools to get the seat back hinges off of the plastic piece in the middle that they’re connected to, but it wouldn’t budge

Sure. You'll never know if the baby's puking because it's a baby or because you're taking corners at 1.3g.
