I built my own and the journey so far is at least 50% of the fun. I have 250 miles on mine. Build it!

We bought a used cpo 21 c4s back in February. Had 3000 miles on it. It now has 8000. Every 5000 of the miles so far have been a pure joy. We also had an rs5. Don’t miss it one bit. It was a 21 coupe and we hated the zf transmission. Audi should have put the dual clutch in them. I have a 22 macan gts with the same 2.9 in it but with the dual clutch and it is so much better to drive than the rs5. I guess my point is don’t be afraid to get the cpo car. We also wanted to build our own but didn’t want to wait.

So considering those it’s not as good of a deal as I thought.

More dumb luck for me spotting the car: I live in Orinda, have a browser tab permanently opened to Porsche's new/used search page, and filtered on 4S. Your's was the second hit after the 4S that has been in Redwood City for months. I looked at that one back in mid-April. Nice car, but it has too many options for my taste. Good luck!
@RamoThePharaoh - that seems to be a PEC car. Avoid.

Not just for that reason - look at @drcollie 's comment above - it will drive you nuts getting in the car without full leather every day. And you spent how much to "settle"?

Also, while the car is spec'd nicely - and wow, cool, it has PDCC - would you really option that? Sometimes, we think "wow, it has all these options, that I normally wouldn't get, but the deal is good".

Anyway, as they say "Good things come to those who wait" - I strongly suggest you either continue to wait with your dealer, find another dealer to work with, or continue looking at used. But don't buy that car you are looking at that was used at the PEC.

I'm deciding between a 2022 CPO C4S or waiting for an allocation to open up for me to build my own C4S, I'm currently third on the list. The 22 C4S is specced well in terms of exterior and performance options (rear wheel steering, PDCC, sport package, premium package, etc.) but is unfortunately missing a full leather interior which is a big drawback for me at this price point. It is available for 148K (MSRP was 157K) and used to be a demo car so it has about 7K miles. The full leather interior is basically the only option that I would have wanted to add to this car. Another less important change would have been the 14 or 18way seats rather than the base seats on this one.

The second option would be to wait for an allocation to build my own C4S, should be a few months, but with the recent price increases it will end up costing about 170K.

Do you think the 22 C4S would be a good deal at that price point? Should I just accept the missing leather interior since it is a good deal or should I wait and pay an extra 20-25K to build my own in a few months, will probably be 992.2 at that point.

Thanks
Said this before, and it bears repeating here.

Buy the car, not the deal.

Do the former and you'll never think about the money you spent; do the latter and you'll never really enjoy the car.

Haha, it’s my first Porsche so I don’t really know much about it. Does it make the ride a lot stiffer? Are there not adjustable suspension settings?

Lots of threads on this. I will say, I don't have it and the ride is PERFECT. I will say that I've seen a post or two from people in the Chicago area who truly regretted optioning the car with the sports suspension. And for even more fun reading... read the reviews on the GTS and the ride quality.... Alas, lots of threads on this (and pro tip, use the google to search rennlist..... e.g. 992 sports suspension rennlist.com)
