I have an allocation for a GTS, plan to order a coupe, GT Silver, Bordeaux red, rear wheel steering, manual but am undecided on wheels, do not like black and think Carrera wheels in body color would be best. Not sure about raised suspension as it eliminates GTS roll bars and helper springs.
Any thoughts or opinions on the suspension question in particular?

conventional wisdom here is

if you don’t want the gts suspension, don’t get a GTS.

if you don’t like the black wheels, painting gts wheels a different color is relatively easy to do.

SPASM in the S may be a sweet spot for you. Not quite as harsh as on the GTS. The Carrera wheels are supposed to be one of the lighter options so a good option. You can paint those any color on the S. Engine wise, you lose slightly better tunning compared to the GTS but the hardware is all the same. Everything else you can just about add as individual options to the S.
