Default Porsche 992 Carrera S oil reset and service lights
I apologize in advance if this has been answered; I can't find it on the forum. I am getting close to needing my oil changed in my 922 Carrera S. I plan on using the below oil kit. I do, however, need a scan tool. What scan tool do you all recommend to reset not only the oil light but all the service intervals?

992 Oil Change Kit with Liqui Moly Top Tec 4110 C40 5W-40 Oil, Mahle Oil Filter, and Drain Plug

Thanks for the reply, do you know of any other tool that is not as expensive as the PIWIS 3?

Autel MK808. Just used mine for service resets last week. Works well.

Don’t reset it. Change the oil, keep good records, take few pictures. Rinse repeat. Just have to acknowledge the service reminder when stating the car and then it disappears into a tiny icon.

Any recommended source for PIWIS 3? I'm in Ventura CA and I usually like to have "original-ish" diagnostic equipment for my cars. Once I get this anyone in my area is welcome to its use.

Just did mine and my Q5....crazy prices at the stealerships to check this and that (don't actually do anything other than
checking )....

my 808s works just fine (2S)...can't believe that it doesn't work on a GT3...get it from Amazon..if it doesn't work, just return it!

Changed my oil last week (C2S) picked up the 808s from Amazon for the reset by luck it was on sale for Prime Day at $383. Expect price will drop again in Nov if you want to wait.
