Hey there,
Currently waiting on a 992 C4S (no sunroof) to be built. Have already past freeze date but vehicle production has not yet started. By the time I realized I wanted to add “Preparation for Roof Transport System” it was too late to add. What are my options for after delivery to be able to add bars for a roof box down the line?
I’ve seen people use the suction cups for bike racks but I’d prefer decorated bars. Am I screwed?

Yeah, once frozen you are pretty much locked (might check with your dealer) - but once locked it is difficult to change (if not impossible).
But you are not completely out of luck there are some systems (like Seasucker monkey bars) - but it is like you mention - suction based. But since you don't have the transport prep, I am not sure you have a ton of options. But I have a few friends that use the seasuckers (SUV's, coupes, etc.) - they like them and are actually quick to put on and pull off (where the transport system is much more involved to put on and take off.
