Default Instrument cluster - media display?

Hi Guys,

anyone know if this is possible? I can’t seem to set it up. My other (earlier model) P cars allow config of the right side instrument cluster menus to add the media source/details. I can’t seem to find how to do it on my 992.

thx,
L76

I’ve only gotten native PCM media sources to show up.

Unfortunately I use CarPlay and I can’t seem to get that info up.

I use car play too, but I have to take my hands off the steering wheel in the 992 (instead of rolling the selector with my thumb like I do in my other Porsches) and touch the central display 2-3 times to see/change the media source. Would love to just roll through the media source as one of the menu options for the right side instrument cluster…

cheers,

Don't think you can do this, but you can program the left steering wheel diamond switch and it's cousin above it to go forward/backward one station. What I do is set up the right dial customized and for one of the 4(?) slots I choose music/Car play (not sure, not with car right now), so that way the second line on the customized display shows me what Sirius station is playing. I can then click up or down from there to change stations. Oh, and I also use the Porsche voice command system to start the Sirius radio station, because switching out of Carplay and then into Serious and waiting for it to load takes forever. So I just click the outermost left button on the steering wheel once to get the Porsche assistant and then say, for example, "Play Bloomberg channel" and it loads and plays that channel and returns to CarPlay display.

Hope that makes sense.
