@Flat6Motorsports Given a car that already has PSE, would you go with sport cats or a catback exhaust if you could only choose one of them?

Both are good solutions and add power. I think the exhausts add more overall tone. The link pipes sound a little more raw but add more turbo sound/whistle.

Agree with Jon’s comments. Two other considerations:
1.) Will the sport cats throw a CEL? If so, are you OK with that? Some are, some are not. No big deal if getting a tune also.
2.) Is the car still on warranty? Cats are an emission device so you might not want to alter an emissions device while car is still under warranty? Some do, some do not.

I definitely do not want a check engine light. However, it seems that some people have solved that issue with O2 spacers. As for the warranty, I don't really mind. It's really easy to swap the cats back to stock. Especially if you don't have a tune. I think it's pretty low risk overall.

Ultimately, I'm more concerned about the sound. I definitely like the turbo whistle. But I would also like a more throaty and raw sound. Unfortunately, the only place I've ever heard the differences are on YouTube, so it's hard to say what they really sound like. I prefer not to make the exhaust sound any deeper. I know it's basically impossible to get these engines to sound high pitched, but I definitely don't want it to be any deeper than stock.

This may or may not matter, but I would be pairing either option with the car graphic exhaust valve controller.

JCR Titanium or even Kline Inconel Exhaust will raise the pitch higher. Maybe Akrapovic Titanium too?

Also installing numeric cables adds transmission whine which sounds like a quiet supercharger.

I don't believe so, as you can imagine there's a bit of cost associated with doing this. As much as we'd love to, we only budgeted a certain amount to offer as broad of a view as we can. From my experience, the Inconel makes a bigger difference on the N/A motors (GT4/GT3, etc.) because the exhausts are louder (not getting used for turbo energy). I don't think it moves the needle for many but for the person who wants the best, period. They're extremely nice systems and won't disappoint.

Did you happen to test the Cargraphic controller paired with any aftermarket, valved exhaust? I think I am going to add it to my IPE valved exhaust...wonder what that will be like.

Yes, works the exact same, I don't have video but when we release the iPE system we'll have the full open/closed via the M-Engineering tune that accomplishes the same functionality.

Well, yes, I did not expect anything else that it works just wondering the sound difference on aftermarket systems that are already different in sound. Which IPE system do you plan to test? SS or Ti?
