The old color samples that were shipped were actual, painted, 4"x4" swatches and were accurate to the colors.

I decided on Oak Green by downloading 100+ pictures (145 at last count) of both 991 & 992 in that color in various lighting conditions. I didn't see one in person until a cars & coffee last Nov. But, then, of course Porsche wouldn't let me spec PTS on my Carrera T so after two years of "dreaming [oak] green" I had to settle for plain old Gentian Blue.

this is great! Did you do this at the dealership, or are these available to order from Porsche?

It was a bit of a production but was invaluable in terms of me making the right choice for me.

No, it’s a std uk plate. 23 is the year obviously, preceded by 2 letters then three after. If you get it early you can reserve a specific combo within the confines of that configuration but can’t just write any word you want like you can in the US.

so did you get lucky with TARGA? I love it!
#103
Sort of lucky yes. I was just the first to reserve it in Nov 22 when the 23 reg allocation was released. There will only be one registration issued every six months with those letters and the corresponding year identifier.

I think your plate is better than a plate that just plainly says “targa”
