I was tapped at about 5 MPH in a carpool lane. It left a gauge in the bumper cover and also scraped the lower valance. Since it was the other persons insurance, I had the bumper cover and valance replaced. Cost = $10k. I’m in Manhattan, so take that into account.

New York State has case law on the books that some insurers use to deny DV claims. Other insurers pay them, despite the antiquated and unfair precedent.
