4 months old car done 3000 miles. Noticed this bulge in the leather only on the driver side. To be honest passenger seat has not been used much. Is it a common problem. Disappointed though as it shouldn’t happen. Any views?

Sorry, but I don't see anything unusual.
It's natural hide, there will be imperfections.
Try sitting on it more (obviously, when not driving).
Enjoy the new car otherwise.

Do you have the ventilated seat option? I was thinking of omitting that from my order because you are essentially sitting on top of the membrane/bladder device.

It's not just 992, my 981 Cayman had that. It's an annoying porsche thing. You can look at a 20 yr old mercedes or lexus and they won't have that. a 6 month old Porsche sports car will,

Leather stretches, and sensitive to moisture and temperature. Try heat gun. Heat will help. Put your hand next to it. If your hand can take it the leather can. DO NOT burn the leather.
