Super Clean MagSafe iPhone Charger...
#46
When not in my suit coat pocket, I use the built in holder under the armrest and plug in the iPhone with a high quality, short USB C cable from Nomad for a wired CarPlay experience that removes any temptation to use your phone while driving. Keeps the aesthetic clean and minimalist as well.

I've created a couple 3D designs for this btw. One for the Apple magsafe charger (Which is white) and another which I like better, for this
which is glossy black and therefore matches the gloss black plastic cover on the console. Just painting a couple of them to see how they look in a gloss black and a gloss red (since I have the guards red chrono and red seatbelts).
The ESR one is a bit wider though.
If you want one, PM me and I can mail one over if I have a spare.

Probably could have done a better job painting it. Haven’t yet stuck in on properly with double sided tape. But I like it. I might just stick to the non painted one the more I look at it. Hmm..

I use the cup holder space for other things so I went with this option - very happy with the Rennline product purchased through Suncoast. I used an abbreviated installation - loosen one torx screw, slide in, tighten torx - done.

I may have missed it somewhere, and admittedly I'm not much of a DIY'er, but any tips on getting the CF trim piece out?
I've watched the Magsafe video and tried repeatedly, but the next step feels like I'm going to break the whole thing.
Any advice appreciated.

Lift up from the back of the trim but inside edge of trim with your fingers. Use a plastic trim tool if needed. Once lifted up, pull back.

Having you been using it in the past few months and if so, any update on the project?
