Hi I just picked up my car last week & already had H&R springs. 12/15mm spacers & soul cat bypass ready to go. Anyways I wanted to quickly share my experience that my car has PSE & Chrono.
This soul cat bypass did almost nothing to sound even in sport mode. Its marginal. My 2018 Targa GTS with same cat bypass was way louder. I just want to drop my experience for anyone looking to do catbypass.
Here's a pic with H&R springs. Pls don't mind the filthy car thats typical Canadian winter look

White 992's are my weakness! Best next step is the Cargraphic module to force the exhaust valve open. That's the biggest difference between this generation and the last one. These valves are gradual vs. fully open/shut.

I’m convinced the best bang for the buck is the Cargraphic valve controller.

Seems like everyone reports the same disappointment whether it be high flow cats or cat bypass pipes. You just can’t get good sound out of the 992 because of the turbos.

You need to open the valves up in the exhaust system. Our PSE valve mod via M-Tuner is really popular on these cars and makes a dramatic difference. From the factory, the valves, even in sport or sport+ mode, are only partially open. With our valve mod you get these fully open and it gets a lot louder!

That's amazing but you are saying $2500 is a value mod to open the valves ? I paid $650 for my Ferrari 458 Spider's Capristo valve controller. Great value under $1k IMO.
That Rarri gets really loud for $650

But I swear my '18 Targa GTS was louder being having turbo's and similar Soul Cat bypass. I guess they really toned down 992

Had Soul's Sport Cats on my 2018 991.2 C4S. Sounded great for a few months and then much louder. Had to limit their use. Current 2022 Targa 4 GTS sounds fine thank you!

Just get something like the cargraphic valve controller and then you’ll be amazed how good it sounds with catless downpipes and the PSE with valves fully open.
