Probably a coincidence, but my car was in for it's 1 year service, and later in the afternoon when I got it home, the PCM failed. It started out with loss of the park assist cameras, and then it completely went dead. Did a search and don't see that this is a common problem. Curious if anyone else had this happen. It's back at the dealer, I'll report back what the fix is.
I'm having a similar issue with my brand new M3. 1500 miles on it and it's got no A/C, no music, no cameras, etc. It's been in the shop for a week and they're expecting at least 2-3 more while they wait for parts and try to diagnose the issue.
Got the car back. There was a fault code for central computer control unit no communication. They reprogrammed it following IT (9125 149/19), and it's back working fine.
This morning, as I started my 992 like every morning
, the PCM went blank. I restarted her back a few times, still dead. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?
I had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago, got a ring of death. Oddly enough audio was still working. I quickly power cycled the car and it didn't fix the issue.
When I let my car sit for a couple of hours it came right back. I'm guessing this might be cause due an in-progress OTA update.

I had that a few weeks ago after it updated 2-3 items. if you turn off, open the door, and wait the screen should come back up. turn off your phone so it doesn't connect Then get it to a home screen. that appeared to have gotten mine sorted out.

@silencei2 Thanks. I'll let her sit for a few hours and re-start her again.
