2020 992 S for fun (car wash today):
2020 840xi Gran coupe for road trips and more than 2 people:
And a (heavily modified) 2008 Tundra with 93k miles (I saw someone else had almost the exact same truck)... For truck stuff. I think a vital part of having nice cars is having one vehicle you can use for the messy stuff we all have in life.

Currently building a 992 carrera T, but will trade in the cx-5 I currently own and daily the 911. Have a JDM "exotic" which I am actually debating about selling or keeping for a fun weekend car (took me about 7 years working on it off and on to get it back to a restored condition).

Your situation is exactly like ours was last year; the 911 was my daily and we have a good SUV as the family hauler. However my commute is 10 minutes and I didn’t want to use the 911 like that, always running cold. So we bought an EV; started looking at a Mini but the range isn’t enough to get up to LA and back with some running around. The Bolt has the range but at the time they had the battery issues (since resolved) so we ended up with a Polestar 2.
It’s a great combination, frankly I don’t know why anyone would ever buy an ICE car now as a runabout unless budget is really tight. Nothing to do with the environment, EV’s are just nicer to live with.

Volvo XC60 B6 R-Design mild hybrid for the wife and kids and then currently 991 C2S daily for me and 981 CGTS for fun. Have 992 C2S starting production this month which when it arrives will be the daily and push the 991 to weekends and the 981 will be up for sale. Wife is on the third of the XC60s in a row and I can't get her to look at anything different, much to my frustration!

Fun thread!
My daily is a BMW f10, with 150k on the dial- I got 240k out of my e60- and I’m planning on flipping 200k before I let this one go.
My wife just got an Atlas Cross Sport in January. She’s a hardcore VW fan - and wouldn’t consider a X5 or cayenne - it’s her 14th VW!
And I’m in the process of selling my 2013 991 c2 to fund the T that’s in production now.

We just replaced our 2022 KIA EV6 with a 2023 BMW i4 (both EV’s). No real complaints with the KIA, but the BMW is just so much nicer in almost every way. It’s my daily. FWIW, if they were equal in price, which they’re not, I’d take this BMW i4 over a Porsche Taycan any day of the week. As someone else said, once you’ve had an EV, it gets to be kind of challenging to even consider an ICE car again. My wife has a 2021 BMW X5 hybrid. In addition to my 2021 C2S I have a 2013 Honda Goldwing and a 2015 Harley Ultra Limited for entertainment purposes.

I have a Macan GTS as a daily and just ordered another Cayenne Turbo Coupe to replace it for myself. After driving my wife's for a bit I really like it. 911 GTS is my fun car. For a DD I prefer something with a bit more room.
