Default First Porsche....

I just bought a 2023 base 911 Cab. I have always owned Corvette's,(traded a 2019 Grand Sport Convertible) but the 911 has always been my dream car. I have been on this forum for the last 2 years getting knowledge from everyone on here. I really am enjoying my 911, just can't wait to get past the break in period.

I have always owned Corvettes and traded in a 2015 7 spd convertible for my first Porsche. Other than the engine, everything about the Porsche is just in another league, including the price.

I had a ‘17 Grand Sport (my first Corvette) and now have a ‘21 Carerra S (my first Porsche). When I’m asked how the 2 compare I say that the Porsche is a more refined Corvette. Plus as a “bigger” guy the Porsche is more comfortable. I am more impressed with the car every time I drive it. Congratulations and enjoy!

I had three Corvettes, a 1957, a 1963 Split Window Coupe, and a 1969 Coupe. Then a neighbor let me drive his 911, which I thought to be a funny little car. Well, after that drive - I was out of Corvettes and into 911's. On # 6 now.

I have both, a C6 ZR1 and a '23 GTS. Both awesome cars in their own way and best of both worlds IMHO.

Congrats on your first Porsche! When I got my first Porsche, a new 981 GT4 and then traded on a new 991.2 GT3 and then I sold it the GT3 back in 2021 during the height of the car price craziness, I literally had a hole in the garage and a non-literal one in my heart until I recently got the GTS. Once you taste Porsche, it's hard to get it out of your system. They are special machines.

Three Corvettes, 65 327/350, 69 350/300 (an order mistake by dealer), 69 427/390 (my roomates 427/435 with L71/L89 option much quicker). A 67 Ferrari 330 GTC. Now a 22 GTS. I'm still a Ferrari fan (the 330 was sweet), but for a modern car that does everything well and can be a daily driver, the Porsche reigns supreme.
