Is it possible to change the gearshift lever on a PDK 911(electric razor type) to a GT3 type?

 

No. The GT3 lever and setup is for the 7 speed PDK. It will not work with the 8 speed PDK.

I'm surprised no one makes a normal looking **** that can substitute. Doesn't look like that complicated of a part. A good mediocre machinist could probably make some money with this.

 

There are some from China on ebay and alibaba. There is a thread with pics active right now. You might get kicked off rennlist if you actually install one though :-)

 

It's a selector switch, not a gear shifter. It doesn't need a ****.
You touch it once when you start off, maybe twice, if, at the start of your drive, you are backing out of your spot or garage.

Having lived with the "shaver" for over 35k miles, I don't understand the ongoing consternation.
