Would you rather get a 997 if still around?

My short answer is no. Guess that shouldn't be too big of a surprise in a forum subsection where most of us have 992's.
With that said, I did drive a few 997's and enjoyed them as a whole. The S version lacked low-end torque, but was wonderful winding it out on the highway. The Turbo I drove was darned near a religious experience![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
At the end of the day, loved the torque and modern features of the 992 so that is what is in the garage. Would love to have a companion Porsche in the adjoining stall and a 997 could be a candidate.
