Another Shark Blue GTS thread - yellow deviated stitching 'gts backdoor' pics
I got my GTS today. I ended up doing a few options that aren't always chosen. I did the 'backdoor' GTS interior where you specify racetex seat centers and deviated stitching/matching dials and its almost the same cost as the silver/red GTS interior packs. I left the trim aluminum and am happy with that (because I did aluminum sills)

Overall I'm super happy. Step up in excitement and refinement from my 991.2. That had burmester and pdcc and I do not miss those. tech better, layout much more modern. sport exhaust much louder which is awesome.
PCCB and SD side skirts love the GTS back yellow deviated stich and belt yellow dials (look great at night, no glare) with the illuminated sill just another view of the whole color grouping racetex headliner didnt even get to change from scrubs had to go back and get my rivian i love long 3rd brake lights apparently
I dig the deviated stitching in yellow, and will need to remember the “back door” method in the future. I always thought the GTS Interior Package was a great value, but didn’t like the color choices.

Theres a gentleman on here with a gentian GTS targa with yellow stitch that is the reason I did it! When I first ordered it was speed yellow (with racing yellow tach/belts) but luckily racing became available 1 week before lock. Rennlist is a godsend for options, so I'm trying to pay it forward showing things like aluminum interior, racetex headliner etc.
my first build was carmine with 930 package, black leather and chalk stitch...so I swung out a bit lol

The R1S is pretty amazing. For a first effort, its about 98% perfect. The driving experience, range, interior, size, comfort, performance are all well above average. The cameras SUCK, especially compared to the 992. The R1S will hang with the 911 to 60 or 70 though, every time, no launch control.

How is this “back door” method to deviated stitching done? When I try to select deviated stitching in the configurator, it asks me to change the leather option. Would appreciate pointing me to the instructions on how to get this. 🙏

instead of getting the “GTS Package,” you opt for the leather/Race Tex interior in Black. Then select the deviated stitching package color. Finally, you a la carte the other bits that you normally get in the GTS package (carbon trim, belt colors, tach/SC dial colors, etc).
