One data point from my local dealership..
To summarize the inventory, quite a few new Porsche SUV’s on the lot for sale at list price), one Taycan (list), one Panamara (list), NO 911’s of any flavor, and one Cayman GT4 RS….for $311k ($100k premium…so, some cars aren’t being discounted). According to my SA, this will be the last year for the all ICE GT4…will be a hybrid when new model is released. Wonder what that is going to cost?
I suspect that the time of year had to do with no 911’s around. But unlike the pandemic days, they did have quite a few new cars to sell.

There are people bailing on special order cars here and there, I get at least one call a month from the local dealers I put an "ad" for the '23 Turbo S over on the Turbo 992 forum is anyone is looking for one.

a. No.
b. No.
c. Even if it was a yes, something tells me my price and their price would have a large chasm between them.

I’m with you. I was always tempted to get the GT$ (RS), but besides the price, it won;’t benefit me on the street (95% of my drive time), and on the track, the few time i go, i doubt I have the experience level/training to benefit…ie, my 992 S is more than enough for me on the track (although looking to get the m-engineering tune sometime soon)…so logically, it makes no sense? Maybe if i look at it as a possible collectors car? But not really a collector kind of guy….
