Default interior trim popped off

The passenger side trim that goes from dash up along windshield toward the door has popped off at the top...still attached at bottom. I have tried to snap it back but w/o any luck. I don't want to make it worse by removing entire piece. Does anyone have an idea or diagram of the location of the type of connector under the piece?

I believe there is a retaining clip where it is not fastening correctly or could be a broken clip. Only way to tell would be to utilize a trim tool and take that piece off far enough you can look and see.

Depending on year of your car, and warranty - you should be able to take it to the dealer for a fix, as that is a warranty part (unless you took it off to wire a radar dectector or cam, etc.) - which it doesn't seem you did. So should be covered...

This thread mentions how to take off the A-pillar. https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1332...r-install.html

Thanks...exactly what I was wondering about...bet that the retaining clip became unlocked (pic #13 of link above)..if they won't do under warranty, at least I know where to go myself.
