My car will be delivered on 28 February if all goes well so don’t know where you got the May date? I started the thread saying some people will not understand. So thank you for confirming that. Furthermore there are a lot of people waiting for some details and colors. Like the sport exhaust button. Many people have an order date which is further away than the first cars who will be arriving. That can help some undeciders. Also I have some options that nobody has ordered.

In most popular threads on the net it’s not a bad thing to split things. All the discussions in one thread. And pictures and videos in another thread. Furthermore I did not want a 992 T thread per color but just one thread with all the T colors. Assuming the rest agrees. Final argument is that the 992 thread has exploded so much that many people are awaiting the first deliveries. And this thread thus made a lot of sense and I wanted “my first little thread” to be about this car and delivery. It’s my first new Porsche. We call that enthusiasm.

And I never said this thread should be empty. I just meant all discussions such as which lights to chose should be in the other thread. Focusing here on delivery etc.

Hope this explains the reasoning sufficiently and answers all your questions.

The first cars are being build as of tomorrow. Maybe someone is getting the production picture soon? Oh man can’t wait for the first pics!
