I have it on my 2021 C2S. It definitely cuts down on adjacent traffic noise. Not so much with the tire noise and pretty much no effect at all on engine sounds. One side benefit that many folks don't notice right away, myself included, is that the rear window defroster wires are practically invisible. In fact you have to be looking at just the right angle in just the right light to see them. It's not a big deal, but kind of a nice plus IMHO. Would I order it again? Absolutely!

Those wires are so invisible I have still never seen them on my C4S!
Any reviews I’ve watched say it’s a must have as it quietens road noise and improves the sounds you want to hear. No real world experience though I’m afraid😊
My real world experience with my 2022 992 GTS with the lightweight package can confirm this. Having said that, I imagine it's a bit subjective but having traded in a 991.2 GTS for the 992 the lightweight glass, to my ears, lets in less road noise but more exhaust. Perfect
I live in Alaska, roads are not great and covered with snow much of the time. We have winters here, perhaps you've seen us on the news...
I have a '20 C4S and had the symposer blocked off and installed Michelin Pilot Sport 4Ss in place of the standard GY Eagles. It is as quiet inside as I can get it and it is pretty comfortable for longish drives, have almost 30K on it. Thinking about ordering a new '24 - how much louder is a GTS with insulated glass as opposed to the car I have now? Another dumb question, what sort of cabin noise in Turbo? Not sure I need all that power, though. I've driven them and that is a lot of car.
I'd like a GTS, but I don't really want it appreciably louder and if there is big difference in cabin noise, I'll order another C4S and think about a tune.
There's a symposer in the 992? How did you disable it?
Found instructions on here but I had the mechanic do it when it was in for service - not hard for him, just put tennis ***** in the tubes and reassembled. Made a noticeable difference.

If you still have those instructions handy please share! Wouldn't mind getting it done to my C2S as well.
Thanks, I’ll see how it goes on my car when it arrives, reality is without comparing a car with versus one without under the same conditions I am highly unlikely to know how much of a difference it makes if any. I have some faith that the scientists at Porsche know what they’re doing and it actually works.
