Just saw this this morning. For those of you who don't know about the real world, a Honda CRV is maybe the best selling car in the US and this color is called sonic gray pearl. Now I'm re-thinking Arctic grey.

@Tyrell's Prodigy Amazing how dark the colour looks in some of your outdoor pics. My SA sent me a photo where it looks almost white. Seeing it in person soon.

The very reason I changed from Arctic Grey to Guards at the 12th hour. I still think Arctic looks great, but on a recent trip every other Honda/Kia/Toyota/Hyundai had some version close to it. Sure, none of them were exactly Arctic and none of them a 992, but the popularity was something that bothered me... but certainly (and reasonably) does not bother others.

Still, I enjoy looking at other 991's in the color.

Have you every looked at how many other car companies offer a variation of red?

Now everyone will think you own a Ferrari. Could be a good thing I guess.

Yes, but I don't see NEAR as many reds as I do versions of flat grey right now or even neon blue.

And thanks for bursting my bubble. I thought I could fool a few people into thinking mine was a 458.

Look, people choose what makes them happy for color as they should. You chose yours and are happy and so did I but the observations of a (current) preponderance of those "in" colors is still accurate.

Yea but who gets red even if it's available? Not many red CRVs and camrys. I'm just seeing way too many of these greys on every type of car, even Chrysler minivans...has me thinking it's become way too ubiquitous for it to be a special $3k option. F*ck me...what to do.

That’s a lovely spec. I almost spec’ed the Cognac Heritage interior in my C2 as well.

Valid points. My car is locked and production started yesterday. No turning back on the AG, that is certain.

And a photo for fun.

You're not wrong. I'm sure the PPF company that took those epics used a filter but still, the type of daylight really changes the colour.

I wouldn't describe it as ever looking anywhere near white though.

Reminds me of my old R35 GTS in Titanium. Now that went from Bronze to plain flat brown when the the clouds arrived.

Public Service Announcement--please stop using the acronym AG as it is getting confusing with Artic Grey, Aventure Green, and Agate Grey out there all with the same initials......(lol).

BTW-I like the color of your car. Is that a slate grey/chalk interior?

Thanks! I can see the issue with the acronym...

Correct, slate grey/chalk interior.

Very soft looking to the eyes. Love it. I have Agate Grey/Slate grey/chalk and your combo is even softer.

I actually now feel like a complete idiot, since I just realized I was mixing up Arctic and Ice Grey. The photo my SA sent was Ice not Arctic...
