Yes, 100% better than piano black. The piano black trim kills me because of the micro scratches that inevitably appear no matter how careful you are, but I suppose it can be replaced relatively easily - at least around the gear shifter.

I was going to go this route to avoid CF.
Wasn't 100% sold on the finish
So I just ticked the NCO leather instead.
Hopefully that will tie in with all the other leather a bit better

I order some vinyl off amazon to see how it looks. $11 and free returns so can't go wrong. Curious to see what @Drew46 used.

I think long-term I will get it wrapped in leather but we will see how the vinyl works for now.

Thanks for the link. This may sound silly but what color? There are like 3 grays to choose from.

Following up on color. I have two of the Vivid kits I got before you posted this, one slightly too dark and one slightly too light.

I have the brushed black aluminum trim as well. I had my PPF guys do the piano black trim when I had the exterior done.

Agree, this is the reason I didnt add the CF trim. The black aluminum looks better IMO, specially with the truffle interior
