I have the above maintainer wired directly to my battery to make it easy to hook up. Here in northern Ohio driving opportunities are reduced. Are they any issues with leaving the CTEK attached over extended periods of time?
Thanks all.....

My experience is limited, but given the CTEK eventually shifts into a pulse/maintenance mode, I think not. It does a good job of keeping the battery (lithium in my case) near full charge with short trips and several days parked the norm (the 992 seems to never sleep). OTOH, I wouldn’t attach it to the battery negative terminal, but rather the ground point described in your owners manual.

I have a Noco G750 that's been attached to mine since 11/9/22, and the battery hasn't exploded yet.

The Porsche version is a rebranded CTEK charger for more $$$ IIRC. Get the right kind for the battery you have, AGM or Lithium and you’ll be fine.

That's the whole point of using a maintainer, as opposed to a now-obsolete trickle charger.
I've been using maintainers for years on my motorcycles, with them attached for months at a time. A maintainer will make your battery last longer.
I've gotten ten years out of a motorcycle battery.

I have a CTEK connected to a 2020 Ford Explorer and the 911 almost all the time and have yet to have a burp in the matrix. Zero problems here.
The only difference is that I have the negative wired to a post in the car and not directly to the battery. Shouldn't make any difference tho.
Might do some research about ADM versus Lithium Ion batteries and other's experiences in here tho.

Anyone know which CTEK model Porsche uses/recommends for the LiFePO4 battery? I have a few on hand from previous vehicles but I believe they are older models. Multi US 3300 and MXS 5.0.

I think the Porsche charger is bespoke made for Porsche. If you have a lithium battery, this is your maintainer:
