Brake dust….ughh! Hate it. I liked the appearance of the Carrera Classic wheel but part of the reason I chose them was I thought the design and color would not show the brake dust as bad as the wheels on my 997 or 991. I have found this to be true. Brake dust is much less noticeable on my 992. I use Sonax acid-free wheel cleaner on my wheels followed by soap & water followed by heavy flush. About every 6 months, I follow my wheel wash with Gyeon Wet Coat. I agree that removing the wheels to clean is the preferred method and do occasionally ……when time allows.
