PCM5 Whole Screen Carplay/Android Auto

Raymond is the real deal!
I am 100% in agreement with the OP. Having done a software mod AA conversion on a 718 Cayman S, I really missed the convenience and usability of AA on my 2019 992CS.
Enter Raymond at @innovativesoft https://www.innovativesoftnz.com/. He's super knowledgeable, a real expert and very helpful. Based on the reviews on this thread I went ahead and placed an order for the Whole Screen/HD mod. He answered all of my questions and was super available especially considering he's in NZ and so +13h from me!
The first pass involved taking a dump of my PCM as it was a very new version following a recent dealer visit. An hour later he was back with the needed mods, and a further 20 mins later I had this beauty of a thing. In fact, it's WAY better than the the PCM3.1 mod on my Cayman. Much more seamless, much faster and responsive and much more integrated.
Media, maps, notifications, phone calls, Google assistant all work perfectly. Switches to AA automatically on phone plug in and, best of all, the phone can now sit in the center console. The most important part of that is that it can no longer fly around the car when I do a launch 😎😎
PCM controls on the steering wheel work perfectly e.g., phone, skip, volume, mute etc.
The only thing I haven't figured out is how the back and Opt buttons near the gear lever work - that's not 100% critical but would be nice.
AA on a 2019 992CS, nice!

Intermediate
Took the plunge and upgraded to full HD about 2 weeks ago. New CarPlay interface is an improvement.
My experience with Raymond was very positive. He promptly answered all my questions via WhatsApp.
He made the whole process very easy. The whole upgrade took about 1 hour. Highly recommend his services.

Info in the link says Waze does not work but I see the icon on your screenshot. Yes or no?? Lack of Waze is a deal breaker for me.

i am confused too
I think your are talking about customised launch menu that has the bug which Waze will crash. (In new coolwalk beta)
but if just launch it normally it will work

Did the upgrade with Raymond a couple days ago to my 2021 992 S. So far everything works great.
As others said - this will require a laptop running Windows (either PC or a Mac with Bootcamp or Parallels).
I know people have issues with the price- but this is far more involved than simple coding. Car gets put into "Engineering Mode" and the PCM software is modified. Yes, $545 I paid (after forum discount) is steep, but in many ways this is akin to the tune that M Engineering offers. You're paying for the work involved to bring this to a small group of 992 owners that will pay. I also have the M Engineering tune and totally respect that team/approach.
Here are some photos, Waze works perfectly. This is simply a modification of the screen parameters, it has no impact to your phone and all future iOS/CarPlay upgrades will work seamlessly.
