FWIW, they removed the stone guard option from builds, but my dealer said they can still be ordered and installed by their parts dept.
I like the way it looks on sportier builds (aero kit, colored wheels, etc). I think you you go with a more touring build, I'd skip them. To each his own though.
Lots. In winter - yes, , all my cars are driven year round so between snow etc. it's one of my major beefs that they couldn't **&&&^^%%^&&*^T^ include a washer - not even as a $500 option. But then again from the folks who removed the AM band radio (must have saved 2 grams and 3 cents), what other than excellence can be expected?
cool. it's on my incoming '23 C4S year round colorado daily. not sure if it will be useful but excited to have a wiper on the back of my 911. it's a real shame about the lack of washer. it's just another small pump and length of hose.
I find them cool, matching to the gloss black wheels, gloss black exterior package, targa roof/bar and rear privacy glass. Also added the two front stripes on the bonnet (afterwards)

Wear it with pride! You can show the garage queens what they're missing!
I went back & forth on adding the black stone guards and still do. Really, I think the 992's look great either way and I have mine as a tribute to past 911's as much as for anything else. Saying that, I will say the blacks (from Suncoast) seem to be holding up better than the clears that came on the car from Porsche. The clears are still on the car for added impact protection.

I had my PPF installer use Xpel Black PPF for my stone gaurds. All the black on the car is high gloss, and these match it perfectly. They can easily be replaced once they are beat up enough. So far they are holding up well.

I did the same, just applied it over the clear which, living on 3 miles of gravel road, didn't look too good after only a month being pock marked and fading from the midnight sun. And of course a touch of nostalgia...
How did you get the silver Turbo S wheels for the GTS? Purchase separately?
Yes I ordered the OEM Turbo S winter wheels package , its almost exactly the same offsets (13mm more poke in the front ) as I wanted the wider rear winter tire width and the turbo look for a change up, we get mostly wet cold winters here.
does the car already come with clear ppf stone guard?
it did but removed them as they were beat up. Tested the black and together with front lip, GT3 sideskirts decided to remove the black accents on the lower part of the car and paint them color match and putting clear guards back on.

Did you have differing paint fade issues when you took off the guards?
No paint fade...just the lighting that makes Aventurine green cars looking like it has different shades. Btw, not sure what you mean with "Carrera" wheels. These were not the standard, none-forged Carrera wheels but the exclusive design wheels also offered on Turbo and standard on Sport Classic. Sold them.
