After a few attempts, the errors all cleared - so, maybe you had the same issue that they left the door open or something else while working on your car and it drained the battery. Just recharging does not work to clear the codes. at least not immediately...sometimes, the nuclear method and disconnecting the battery helps as I experienced.
on my 991.1, it was common for the auto start/stop to cease working when the battery was on the way out. I can’t say if that applies to 992’s however it occurred to many 991 owners.

After 2 hours of calibration, all codes are cleared. Recalibration cleared every fault. Car runs perfect, I’m glad this ordeal is over.

I’m not sure if this is true and I’m just quoting what I was told, that if you pull your battery before installing yours springs, your most likely won’t have any error codes.

@n0odlez714 sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, but I just installed KW springs and getting all sorts of similar errors.
  • Chassis control error
  • PAS Unavailable
  • Dynamic Headlight error
  • etc
I'm assuming most if not all of these are from the ride height sensors, was GMG able to do that recalibration for you?

Let's bring it back again haha since nobody responded...
I'm wondering is there some tool that can be bought to do the recalibration like on amazon or something like this?
Amazon Amazon

So there were 2 things that made me able to program the ride height sensors after the KW HAS install.
  1. I was able to find the PIWIS 3 software (and corresponding cheap replica VAS 6154 adapter) to use, which has the reprogramming function within.
    1. If wanted, I think I have screenshots from the relearn or "Maintenance repair" procedure?
  2. The rear was actually "too" out of spec to even re-learn, so I 3d printed drop brackets. (also happy to share STL if anyone is interested)

Oh wow. I had to so something similar with my carrera t but there were some adjustable parts I purchased. I was hoping I would just need to recalibrate with the software
But very helpful !! Thank you for sharing and I may be following up with you if I don't succeed.

No problem!!

I think as long as you don't lower it too much, you should be able to get away with only reprogramming.
I lowered ~1.5" in the rear and ~1.25" in the front, and I only had to mess with the rear drop brackets. YMMV

Ended up doing the same thing. I was getting -1 in the front and -2 in the rear.

I couldn’t recalibrate the height sensors because they were out of range like mentioned above.

I ended up 3D printing some spacer for both the front and the rear. They both have a 1 inch spacing.

After that I was able to remove all faults and calibrate the sensors.

Hello. I have the same problem. Can you please share the blueprint so I can 3d print this?

Would you mind sharing how can I get one of these spacers? I have the same problem

These are only applicable for the rear, so you would just need 2 of them (one on each side)

In my case the front didn't need relocation to program successfully.

This is good to know as I’m looking to lower my 992 C2 with Bilstein EVOs in the near future. I’m assuming calibration is done at the dealership?

If you or a local shop have PIWIS 3 you can do the programming/calibration yourself
