Default 992 PDK clutch slipping / reset

I bought a new C4 a month ago. It now has 900 miles on it. I’ve noticed that there’s some hesitation as it gets into gear. It feels like the clutch is slipping / hesitating and then grabs. I’ve tried this in sport mode as well so it’s not auto start / stop. It happens even when the car is warmed up.

I had a 991 before with a PDK and never felt this issue.

anyone have thoughts on what it could be and if I can fix it? In the 991 there was a PDK reset sequence you could do fairly easily. Does this have that as well?

if not I’ll bring it to the dealer. Thanks

Is this from cold? Some GT3 992 owners have noticed a reluctance to engage ang 'grabbing' when first moving off but disappears as the engine warms up

Same with my wife’s Macan Turbo. Right out of the garage after backing up it really struggles to find a gear. Then after maybe a minute it is fine.

It’s happening even when the car is warm / has been driven.

mine does the same thing. 22 c2s. I always thought it was just a 911 thing. Mine is much better when warm. But if I gun it from a stop it will rev and not go anywhere, like feathering the clutch. Interested what other have to say.

I've had 1 991 C4 GTS and have never seen this issue. I've had a Macan S 2019 and a 2022 Macan GTS and both pull like a F18 and have never seen a delay in the transmission. Sounds strange to me.All 3 cars have PDK.

I'm a fairly new 992 owner and this has been my experience as well. My car has been serviced a couple times since I bought it and they didn't note any drivability issues. Should I have them look into it or is this normal?

If the PDK starts the engage gears softly or slips, you need a clutch relearn done with piwis.

As the fluid and clutches wear it seems the pdk2 is very touchy. A relearn will get it shifting perfectly again.

PDK relearn is also easily doable in the comfort of your own home with PIWIS. Really smoothed out the shifts.

As a note, during this process while holding the brake the car will shudder and jolt. This thread actually reminded my my PDK touring needed a calibration. It has become a little difficult to drive at low speed.
