I have it and I'm very happy. In + it memorizes the place in the pcm to do it automatically during the next passage. Do not skip this option.

I have it on my current Targa 4GTS and didn't have it on my 4S.

Very useful especially if you plan to drive the car as a daily.
Very useful for road bumpers and garages. Also consider the system remembers locations where you've used it in the past and lifts the car automatically going forward (you can chose to save the location or not).

I agree... I managed with my GT4 and no lift but it wasn't always fun and I had to specifically avoid certain parking lots and places I would normally go. Can you manage without it? Absolutely. Does it make life that much easier and make it that much less likely you are rubbing and scraping? For sure. I'll always spec it on my cars so I can have fewer "will I make it?" thoughts pulling into driveways, parking lots, etc.

it's like insurance, you have to have one but never having to use it is better. I'm 100% for the lift

I chose FAL it out on my incoming C4GTS. Something kind of cool about it and did you know that you can program it to remember specific exact locations when it's necessary and it will raise itself up? At least that's what I'm told. It's a really neat option.

My 991.2 Turbo is my first Porsche to have FAL. Will never buy another Porsche Sportscar without it!
It saves your car from spoiler and undercarriage scraping and damage in all different situations. It will more than pay for itself!

I had the front axle lift on my 2020 C2S for almost three years (Sport PASM). I won't order it again if you let me redo the configuration. The car is my weekend drive and only goes to known areas of the city/back roads, almost never use the lift except for maybe one or two instances.

Just one of these options where there is no right or wrong answer. If you live in a city with bad streets, bad curbs, many inclines etc it's a great thing to have. Where I drive my 992 that is not the case and even permanently lowered I have little issues ...once in a while there is a driveway or entrance to a parking garage I just can't get in...but that's fine with me and I adjust. For me, it's not needed and just is one more thing that may break. For others it's a must have just to drive everyday.

I spent the money instead on a leather upgraded interior. Something I enjoy every day instead of something I might use in the future.

With a week to go before my configuration locks I just added the front axel lift.

Working and driving in Philly I think I might be using this option quite a bit.
