The Crest from a 356 front grab bar (as I call them) is the same size as the one on the airbag; however, getting the original one off is not something I wanted to attempt so I had a custom one made and attached it with adhesive - cannot tell it was not there from the beginning.
Does anyone know where I can get a custom hood emblem? Also, can the steering wheel emblem easily be changed?
The steering wheel emblem could be removed but a bit more involved
- need to take the airbag cover apart - I just did that and once you know how no big deal but not everybody's cup of tea to take the airbag apart
- the OEM emblem is semi-permanently attached from behind with a pressfit sort of nut , i.e. if you remove it you can't reatttach it
