Default Base-Targa Question

Currently own a base 992 (5k in, Luv!) dealer wants my car and sez he has a Targa allocation for me. Can profit 5k on the deal but I really love my Aventurine Green C2. Any big differences on performance between a C2 to a base Targa 4?

4-wheel drive changes everything in sporty driving. It forgives some mistakes.

The grip and handling of these cars is fantastic if not epic. My Targa 4S takes it to another level in my opinion, and add RAS and you have a car that is one of the best handling on the road that you can buy. I have had 3 911’s with AWD 2 without. Would not buy one without it. But again my opinion I’m SURE others feel differently here.

Do you want a Targa? Do it
If you are at all unsure about switching to a Targa, don’t.

I think there is a 400-500 lbs difference between the 2. Imagine driving your C2 with a 450lb friend in the passenger seat and that should approximate the diff in acceleration.

I think the targa looks great and provides nice open air driving.

Porsche configurator tech data says 160kg difference, so 350 lbs. Not inconsequential, but not ridiculous either.
