I've had my 4 GTS for a few months now and about 5 times the A/C has gone to max, when I'm driving spiritedly and brake hard to take a turn. Anyone else have this experience? It's happened too many times to be some fluke/ my hand somehow hitting it.

My best guesses: 1.) If you have a manual transmission, that you are inadvertently touching the "Max A/C" button when shifting spiritedly. (I suspect this is the most likely reason), 2.) The "Max A/C" button is defective, or the wiring within the panel/module that contains the "Max A/C" button is defective. Either of which really amounts to the same thing. -or- 3.) There is a problem in the wiring between the module that contains the "Max A/C" button and the CAN Bus module that it is connected to.

I have a manual; my hand goes nowhere near the max a/c button ever while shifting, spiritedly or not. I can't even imagine how a driver would need to to be being thrown about wildly in order to accidentally hit that button - lol. I'm betting on number 2.

I dunno, sometimes I lash out and strike things at random. You know, strangers, trees, etc. Maybe you have an involuntary muscle spasm but aren’t aware of it.
