I got lucky. Paid MSRP and given first 2023 allocation. Went into the dealer last week of June and getting the car in November. Cutoff date on production is 9-6.

Order demand for a 992 Cab GTS: May 2021 ($0 deposit)
Confirmed allocation: Nov 2021 ($10k deposit, MSRP)
Expected delivery: April 2022. Chose PTS before lock date which pushed delivery out to June 2022.
Due to supply chain delays, car is finally on the ship now and due mid September latest.

Heh, if my misfortune continues you'll have a chance! Currently in the shop for the busted A/C, not to mention getting the tree branch damage fixed. But I'm close to 6k miles now I think, after last weekend's trek up to the tail. Came across a shark blue brother up there, on a GT4. Sweet car, he ran with us up the tail and back.

It was fun, but not having A/C was a real bummer.

No ADM for me either, purchased locally in Atlanta.

Few conditions that were of value or no problem to meet, front PPF by pro shop, at least 20K in options , finance some of the car.
Very happy with all my dealer interactions.

Man I wish I could find a dealership in Cali that would do MSRP. Lowest I have gotten for a GTS or s targa is 30k ADM. Any advice?

Santa Barbara doesn’t charge ADM …BUT smaller dealership with long “lines” you can add yourself too. So no ADM ….but likely no car for a L O N G time.

I have been in contacts with many different delaerships and have gotten allocation but 30k was the lowest adm. Hah! I'll keep trying!

In person helps. You will be a real person and not just a voice on the phone who might be a flipper. Do you have a nice trade? That helps too.

MSRP price. Schedule delivery in January. Lock in date in early November. 5k deposit.

26K in options, I am torn about the lightweight package with 18way seats(no buckets for me). I ended up leaving it off and getting PCCB and glass roof instead. Did I make a mistake?!
