Other useful features if you are on work calls all the time: you can mute and control some aspects of Zoom or MS Teams calls from the screen without need to fumble with your phone. I also get teams notification messages while I’m driving on the screen (not as useful as they aren’t read to me but I know the messages are coming in).

I don't want my radio reading my messages, sorry.
When I do stream, I go straight to the Amazon Music app and play off that.
But if you lived in a large city….with actual traffic?

I would use Waze.

Concur with @Jim Wilke , rarely need Waze, don't want messages read, and IF on rare occasions I want music, BT on iPhone is enough and reason I didn't opt for Burmeister. The car IS the infotainment.

PS Yo Jim, you driving up to Fairbanks for the Labor Day Treffen or you're giving your cats a bath that weekend?

Wireless CarPlay works intermittently on my 2022 C2S. Wired works most of the time. Hence, I always plug it in.

Porsche is updating all model years of the Taycan to the MY2023 software — as a freebie update. With the update, my 2022 just got wireless Android Auto along with increased range, charging improvements, and a laundry list of other features. I’m shocked, thankful, and impressed that they’re doing it. It helps keep the resale values high and the fleet consistent.

It’s sad and frustrating that Porsche doesn’t do the same for the 992.

Just took delivery yesterday (2022 Targa GTS 4). It has both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SA and I found that the Android Auto works when phone is plugged in simultaneously with bluetooth. He was unaware of that change.
