My Bose settings have started saving randomly. It’s been only a week or so but as others have recently reported, they may have included a fix in a recent OTA PCM update.
Well that is good to hear. Hoping I have that update soon!
My Bose settings have started saving randomly. It’s been only a week or so but as others have recently reported, they may have included a fix in a recent OTA PCM update.
Is there any way you can take a screenshot of your software version and post it? I'm still not working and not sure I got any update recently. Thank you
No freaking way, mine lost all settings today too.
Porsche is doing some sort of BS OTA because right after I started my car up today, it said that it installed some map update or another.
Can't believe this is happening to you too
In my case it started saving my BOSE settings after the map update - but apparently that only lasted for 1 week....Also, I always have my maps on dark mode - that setting screwed up yesterday too
2022 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid. Same issue here when switching sources. I set my BOSE setting to Surround and them it keeps for about a week or so and then I will switch to another source that should have surround set but it sounds dull , I will look at the setting and the Bose surround has been unchecked. I also get random updates out of no where, the mysterious map update, and 4 updates that I saw when I first got the car seem to come back then disappear. Seems like Bose is pushing an update without discussing it with us. And yes, I use the same profile. Is there a website where our complaints go directly to Porsche NA?
It is with great pleasure that I would like to annouce that Porsche has fixed my issue with the Bose SURROUND setting not staying enabled. I took it in to the dealer about 3 weeks ago and there was a campaign on my PCM. For the last three week I have observed the suurround setting and it has stayed enable. Whatever they did in that PCM update fixed the problem. Home this help so me of you.
I have been dealing with this issue on my 2022 Panamera since new for the last 6 months. I have been back to the dealer at least 4 times with no fix at all. PCNA finally got involved and requested I bring the vehicle in April again for a complete diagnostic overhaul (whatever that means). There have been several posts on the Panamera pages regarding this exact issue.
Do you know or can you let me know what that update was for (service campaign number, etc. ?)
While I do not know if it was specific to the BOSE Surround feature, what I do know is that I do not have the BOSE Surround Issue anymore. It use to disable itself every other day. When I get a chance I will take a picutre of my service record paperwork.
It is my understanding from PCNA it is not a surround issue, but a PCM "bug" that also affects the Bass, treble , balance, fader and volume settings as well. They all return to default settings together at random time intervals(day, days, week etc.)
Thank you again look forward to hearing from you
It is job #3. The other ones do not have anything to do with the audio setting. I am not 100% certain it is what fixed it but after they reprogrammed it, it seems to be working and it is going on 4 week with no issue.
