Agreed on replacing trunk carpet. I don't have the 992 diagram, but at quick look since I have the 997 diagram, there's multiple pieces and it's around $500 for all of it. I'd guess 992 carpet is under $500 as well.

If you do keep oil in your trunk, I recommend putting it in a plastic bag inside of the Porsche oil bag holder.

You guys make $ 500 an hour? Impressive. I sure don't.

depends on the hour. but aside from rate, some things i choose not to do. this would be one of them. not to mention the fact that replacing is a complete fix. dawn - maybe. cleans baby ducks ok, apparently.

I was in the carpet cleaner rental business for 40+ years. Just replace the carpet.

I wouldn't worry about keeping a spare quart in the car unless your road tripping to a fairly remote place in the middle of no where. You can stop anywhere and find enough to top off if needed.

I doubt you'll find 0w-40 x3 ESP Mobil1 anywhere but a Porsche dealer or a Mobil1 shop.

Wrap it in several plastic bags or ziploc and place it in the cargo netting on the right side of the frunk. As to courtesy oil, I did ask for it and since it takes 8.5 Qts. they gave me the left over .5 qts as well as a full quart. Always carry the half quart for a quick top up if needed.

Need one of these if you're going to keep oil in it.

Or stick it in your wife's tupperware container.

Not sure I did but I was way too excited to be picking up a 911 to take note of a litre of oil. I did get a curly whirly iPhone lead that I lost on day one and two bottles of non-alcoholic fizz! Wanted a Porsche body warmer but matey was having none of it. Anyway, gone off topic somewhat!
