Default Interior ventilation setting

I recently took delivery of a new C2 cab and have a question about the interior ventilation settings. I’ve read the manual instructions and searched the forum (multiple search strings and key words) but not finding the right info. I’m trying to set the interior ventilation to feed exterior air without using the AC or the Auto functions. In my 987 I was able to bring in ambient temperature exterior air and adjust airflow with the AC off. In the 992, it appears the only way to enable ventilation is either using the Auto temp function or turning on the AC. I want to avoid having to run the AC or heater if the outside air temp is higher/lower than the Auto or manual adjustment temp setting. Does the 992 have a way to bring in fresh air like the 987 or earlier model Porsches? Thanks in advance.

Yes it does. There's a switch on your console that you depress when you want fresh air and no A/C.

Now that I had my fun..... go to your PCM > CLIMATE > Press A/C and when the red line is gone, your A/C should be off. Press VENTILATION and you should get just fresh air. Note you will have to repeat this process to turn the AC back on.

Or you can just press the “AUTO” button on the center console (just above the volume ****)
