I am still configuring my Targa 4S for a delivery late this year. I currently have a Carmine Red 4S, and my original spec was Chalk with Black leacher/chalk stitching, then I switched to Jet Black Metallic with black leather/chalk stitching....which I am concerned might both ultimately be a bit boring....but since the configurator update I'm liking the below Heritage Design interior - Classic in Black/Semi-Aniline Classic Cognac
Thoughts? Ultimately taste is individual - I get it - but I am wondering if I have become slightly eccentric from staring at the configurator too long.....
I like the Heritage Interior a lot in the combination shown. However, personally, I think it would look best with a black exterior, but everybody's taste is different.
My $.02 - I'm 110% head over heels in love with the Heritage Interior. In terms of your specific build, however, I'm not a fan the cognac leather with the chalk exterior. That said, I think the cognac would look terrific with a metallic black or dark blue exterior. The exterior color makes all the difference IMO.
I love that spec... if I could get a damn allocation it would 100% be specced with this interior... would look great with most exteriors IMO. Carmine would be KILLLER with that. I have an order in for Irish Green PTS with that interior but I'm not optimistic I'll get the allocation for it.

I’ve got nearly the same car on order but a coupe. I wasn’t sure with chalk either. I went to the dealer w my wife and we looked at samples and decided on the chalk. Now I’m seeing that Porsche is promoting the sport classic in the same combo so clearly it does work. Can’t wait for mine. It’s showing delivery of oct 28th currently.
I did the sport Tex (closest thing I could do when I built my 2022 Targa) - The heritage combo is AWESOME! I would definitely get it and I think it would look good with almost any color!
PS. I have a similar set up in my GT3 but in black leather (Cognac was not a color choice).. Love the Peptia pattern!
I think the Heritage edition is such an amazing look, and I would have chosen it 100% BUT FOR the fact that I live in SoCal, and tend to get real uncomfortable sitting in the sun for too long, so ventilated seats is a must. I think that feature is not available with these seats, so I ultimately went without it when I ordered. I could be wrong, and would love to know if that's a real issue.

I have Sport Tex on my 992 Targa, and the Inserts I pictured above on my GT3 Touring. The cloth stays cool (ish) in the summer (in direct sun - has been in the high 90's low 100's in Cincy the last few weeks). I was just out in the targa with top down, parked for a few hours in direct sun while picking up a few things/running errands. No issue, the leather gets hot on the sides of course but it is not like sitting on a hot plate like full leather would be. The Sport Tex and Heritage comes with heated seats (of course no cooling) - I find them to be very comfortable in the winter, without using the heat function - actually all last winter, never used the heated seats once.. With my previous 2020 992 4S coupe - I had heated and cooled seats (full leather) - I used them both frequently, as the black seats were very hot (and took a bit to cool) and were cold as well in the winter.
I am surprised how cool and warm the fabric seats are - very please overall, and love the retro look...
There are 4v choices and I like the first two . I am going too buck the trend on this thread and say I can't stand the brown with black dash and checker seat insert . It looks like it belongs in a Ralph Lauren catalog .

love the interior but I don't think tan goes with silver (or white)
Red, black, green, or blue are much better in my correct opinion😆🤣
my carerra white w bordeau/ black interior is in Germany waiting to get on the boat!

The interior seat and door centers almost look like the chalk exterior. I think that’s what don’t look right. You are coming back with a heavy dose of a similar color as outside and it don’t mesh well in my eyes. I agree with others that a dark exterior color is the correct choice for that brown and houndstooth
