Default Low FOB battery warning

I got low battery warning on PCM and when I checked the old battery it was 2:8 volt left. MY 2022 delivered 12/2021.
When I replaced with fresh battery (3.2 volt) it still showed low battery warning. I have tried 30 seconds lock unlock routine with same warning. My spare key shows no warning

My 2020 did this. The only thing that fixed it was when the dealer used one of their batteries in it. The same new batteries that gave the low battery warning were fine in the other fob. I tried two major brands of batteries without success in that fob.

I started a thread on this a while back. Tried several batteries with the same results as you. Had to buy batteries from a few different sources till I was able to get the fob to work properly. My conclusion was batteries from around the same geographical area were sitting around unsold in stores. And yes the exploration was 2023 or 2024. Unfortunately I had to buy a few batteries to find a pack that worked. Also keep a spare with you…when they go if you do not replace pretty soon after you get the warning, you may have a problem.
‘And yes very annoying.

Started a thread on this a few weeks ago... You are not the only one... My Targa was delivered 12/21 as well (MY22).

I changed my 2y old car's fob battery recently. The low battery warning was still there immediately after the battery change, but ceased after a day or so. Give your low battery warning a day or two to go away?

mikey94025 is correct. After a day or so the low battery sign is gone. I guess it takes a while to settle in? I had called PCNA and they were clueless. So were the dealer. Should been in the manual.

I’ve had that happen with my BMW too, for what it’s worth.
